Macarons – The Moon and the Stars

I’m always looking for fun, new ways to use the Tweedle Dee Designs Top it Off! Party Toppers and I thought macarons would be so much fun!Β  Making these Moon and the Stars toppers was so easy. If you’re not a super baker or don’t have a lot of time these are great for making a quick and fun treat for your party guests.

Materials

White food coloring gel (I like to use the Americolor brand)

Food dedicated paint brush

Silver Food Spray Paint

Edible Star Sprinkles

Macarons (I got these blue ones from Whole Foods)

Lollipop Sticks

Bat Top it Off! Party Toppers

1. Lay out something to cover your work surface to put your macarons on, I just used a couple paper towels.Β  Next, dip your brush in the white food coloring and gently tap over your macarons to create the stars, kind of like splatter painting.

2. Using the Wilton Silver Food Spray, lightly spray over your macarons and sprinkle some edible silver stars.

You can add your bat party toppers and enjoy or add a lollipop stick to make macaron pops for your Halloween party.

These would also be fun for a stork themed baby shower or I’m over the moon for you bridal shower.Β  Just remove the bat party topper for mini moon macarons.
